Intro

The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Known as a “Y without Walls,” the Community Services YMCA formed in 2005 focused on youth and community development in the Greater Cincinnati tri-state area.

To build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities, CSY’s key goals include:

· Become one of the best YMCAs in asset development, community-building, youth fitness, and civic engagement

· Serve as YMCA research and development “Greenhouse,” incubating innovation, planting ideas, and monitoring growth

· Sustain 21st Century Community Learning Center programs through comprehensive financial strategy in collaboration with schools, government, United Way, foundations, and individuals by providing leadership and expertise for local afterschool and asset-building networks.

Currently, CSY provides a wide variety of youth and community programs in Madisonville (OH), Kenton County (KY), Dayton Teen Center (KY) and other River Cities of Bellevue, Newport, & Covington, and 21st Century Community Learning Centers known as CincyAfterSchool (9) and in Northern Kentucky (3).
